Design Management Engineer

BorsodChem Zrt. a leading European manufacturer of MDI and TDI products and PVC powders, part of the Chinese Wanhua Group is looking for new colleagues to fill in the position of Design Management Engineer to the Design Management Engineering Department.

The team’s responsibilities include two parts:

Project Design Management engineer: be one of the members of project team. Responsible for manage and coordinate engineering company, and other relevant parties to carry out high-quality design work. Ensure the project work on schedule.

Professional Design Management engineer: be in the department and establishing and continuously improving project design related management systems, strictly implements various regulations on design management.

Responsibilities:

Organize all necessary design activities to support the project from design point of view: design change, depth, design representative, review, data input, meeting, etc.,
be responsible and support for the project design quality, schedule, cost during the project period,
professional design management: basics, guidelines and regulation, coding, layout management,
evaluation of the licensor and design supplier.

Requirements:

Bachelor degree or above in chemical engineering, chemical technology or related majors,
3 years or more of experience in chemical production, chemical design, or chemical plant construction and start-up or at least 1 complete project experience as project member (design aspect) in chemical project,

chemical engineering project management knowledge,
familiar with the principles and processes of typical chemical unit operations,
knowledge of chemical equipment and electrical instrumentation,
chemical engineering knowledge such as chemical engineering principles, physical chemistry and chemical thermodynamics,
good communication skills and organizational coordination skills,
good English skills (written and spoken) – daily English communication, especially commonly used business English and chemical engineering English,
strong willingness to learn, proficient in Office, AutoCAD, Project and other office software,
good ability to withstand stress.

Remuneration and benefits:

13.5 monthly base salary on annual basis,
